Your everyday setup

• Keep beans sealed in a resealable bag or airtight container.
• Store in a cool, dry cupboard away from sunlight and the stove.
• Grind just before brewing when practical. Buy smaller bags of ground coffee.
• Avoid opening the bag over a steamy kettle.

Buying ahead

Freeze sealed portions if you have more than you can use soon. Let a portion come to room temperature before opening to keep condensation away from the coffee. Keep your working portion in the cupboard.
